NYSALB NYSALB Organizational Meeting

Holiday Inn Turf, Albany, New York

President Norm Jacknis called the meeting to order at 2:30 PM.

Roll Call: Present: N. Jacknis, T. Thompson, E. Apostol, J. Sweet, R. Strauss, J. Hurley, G. Manitzas, G. Stamatiades, W. Taber and J. Taylor.

The Nominating Committee Chair Tina Thompson presented the slate of officers for 2004-2005:

Norm Jacknis for President

Tina Thompson for 1st Vice President

Erin Apostol for 2nd Vice President

Jane Sweet for Secretary

Dick Strauss for Treasurer

A motion to accept the slate and direct the secretary to cast a single ballot was made by George Manitzas, second by William Taber; unanimous.

Board members were reminded to select their committee choices and send those choices to Norm.

The next meeting of the Board of Directors will be on September 11, 2004 in Albany.

A motion to adjourn was made by Richard Strauss, second by Sam Patton; unanimous.
